What does the Video Call Effect involve, and which apps can I use it on?
We now communicate with each other mostly through video calls. These calls are now made more entertaining by certain apps' unique "Video Call Effects.". These effects may alter your backdrop, apply amusing facial filters, and even aid with language translation. Let's examine what these effects perform and the applications in which you may apply them.
The video call effect can be used when making video calls on the apps:
Google Duo, Zoom, WebEx, MS Teams, Meet, Facebook Messenger, and BlueJeans.
Three main types of effects are available in the S9 series
- Background
- Auto Framing
- Mic
You can use features that change the background or block background noise during video calls. On the Settings screen, tap Advanced features → Video call effects, and tap the switch to turn it on.
The video call icon will be added to the video calling app’s screen.
Note:
- Depending on the model, some functionalities might not be available Some functions can only be accessed with the front camera. (Automatic Framing, Background)
