No power issue in your dishwasher will stop you from cleaning your kitchen items at home. Fortunately, there are several steps you can take to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue yourself.

Here are some key areas to check the no-power issue:

  • Electricity Source: Ensure the power supply is functioning correctly.
  • Dishwasher Components: Investigate potential problems within the dishwasher itself.

How to check the electricity source

1 If your dishwasher won't start, see if the power cord fits snugly into the outlet.
2 Do not use an extension cord. Plug the dishwasher directly into the wall.
3 Test the outlet with another appliance, and see if it's actually working.
4 Check your home circuit breaker or fuses. Turn on the circuit breaker if an appliance has tripped it.
5 Examine the fuses, and change out any ones that are black or have broken wires.

Note: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may need an electrician visit to have your home's electrical system inspected.

Users may not be able to do self-troubleshooting and repair the dishwasher. There will be a need for a service visit by a Samsung service engineer to check the dishwasher.
