 Odyssey OLED G9 Monitor

Sometimes, users may encounter issues where a mouse connected to the Odyssey OLED G9 Gaming Monitor does not work as expected. Here are some common troubleshooting steps and solutions to resolve this issue:

1 Using Keyboard and Mouse on the Smart Monitor

The Odyssey OLED G9 allows users to navigate the monitor’s interface using both a keyboard and mouse. For example, you can quickly access the monitor's Settings, Home, or Source using the keyboard and return to the Home screen with the mouse.

2 USB Hub and Multi View Mode

When using Multi View mode, the USB Hub feature is disabled, which means you won’t be able to control your PC with the mouse while in this mode. After using the mouse as a USB hub from a PC source, a remote control must be used to operate the monitor's other functions.

3 Enabling "Easy Wake Up" for Connected Devices

If you want to wake up the monitor from standby mode using a keyboard, mouse, or gamepad, you need to enable the Easy Wake Up feature. Here’s how you can activate it:

  • Go to Home > (left directional button) > Settings > All settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Easy Wake Up.

Note:

  • Enabling the Easy Wake Up feature may increase power consumption.
  • Please note that keyboard and mouse controls are not supported in some apps. If an app doesn’t support mouse control, a pop-up message will appear notifying you of this limitation.
