How to Set Up FreeSync on Your G9 Monitor

FreeSync Premium Pro is a technology that helps eliminate screen tearing and lag, improving your gaming experience. Here's a simplified guide to setting it up:

Enable FreeSync:

  • Go to your monitor's Game Mode settings.
  • Set Game Mode to On to enable FreeSync Premium Pro if you're using an AMD graphics card.

Optimal Resolution:

  • Use the recommended resolution for the best FreeSync performance. If the screen looks blurry, adjust the PC's resolution.

FreeSync Requirements:

  • FreeSync only works with HDMI or DisplayPort connections. Use the provided HDMI/DP cable.
  • The function is unavailable if Multi View is enabled or Input Signal Plus is off.

Adjusting FreeSync in AMD Radeon Software:

  • Right-click on your desktop and select AMD Radeon Software.
  • Click on the Gear icon, then select Display.
  • Make sure AMD FreeSync is set to enabled.

Common Issues:

  • Flickering may occur depending on your graphics card or game settings.
