How to Set Up a Personalized Screen for Your Odyssey OLED G9 While It's in Use
Have a unique experience for 2023 or later Samsung Smart Monitors. You can now create your own automatic welcome screen that showcases your favorite photos along with the date and time.
To get started, you'll need the mobile SmartThings app. Here’s how to create your personalized splash screen:
Step 1. On your mobile device, launch the SmartThings app.
Step 2. Select your smart monitor.
Step 1. Navigate to Settings > Connected devices > My contents > Setup.
Step 2. Alternatively, select My Contents directly within the app.
Note: With My Contents, you can transform your Samsung Smart Monitor into a personalized display, making it more than just a screen when it’s not in use. Enjoy your new, customized experience.
Step 1. Use the app to select photos you want to display.
Step 2. Adjust settings for Auto-Start and Sleep Mode to enhance your experience.
When your monitor is in standby mode or turned off, it will detect your phone’s Bluetooth signal if you are nearby. My Contents will then automatically display your customized welcome screen, featuring the photos you’ve chosen. If you leave the room with your phone, the feature will turn off the welcome screen to save energy.
Note:
- Use the mobile SmartThings app to configure specific settings for My Contents. (e.g., Select photos, Auto-Start Settings, Sleep Mode Settings)
- If you ever want to turn off the smart monitor while My Contents is active, simply press and hold the power key.
