How to Resolve Full Screen Display Issues on the Odyssey OLED G9
Issue: The Picture Won’t Display in Full Screen
If you encounter problems with the picture not displaying in full screen, here are some common solutions:
When displaying upscaled SD (4:3) content on HD channels, black bars may appear on either side of the screen. This occurs because the aspect ratio of SD content does not match the widescreen format of HD channels.
When watching movies with aspect ratios different from your product’s display, black bars will appear at the top and bottom of the screen. This is due to the difference between the movie’s aspect ratio and the screen’s aspect ratio.
Solution: Adjust Picture Size Settings
To resolve these issues, you can adjust the picture size settings on your external device or set your product to full screen, by following these steps:
